Suburbia has its pros and cons, and a larger living space is a mixed blessing-- we tend to fill the space we are given. Ebooks make so much sense in so many ways; environmentally, accessibility, and practicality. I do hope that someday ebooks can support independent bookstores the way bookshop.org and libro.fm does for physical books and audio books. Thanks for reading and commenting.

I LOVE this. I bought my house because of 1) the trees and 2) the room with a wall of built-in bookshelves. Over the years, curating the books went by the wayside as I cared for everyone else and worked two jobs: the shelves were just packed. Now, I am culling to remove books that a younger self acquired; she had a mistaken idea that having a lot of books was important. Now I am fitting the number of important books to the container, leaving room for treasures in between.
